Dimensions of tank: 5.8m in diameter and 2.1m high walls are 5 inches (125mm) wide at the top and taper out to 7 inches (175mm) wide at the bottom of the tank where the most pressure is. The floor and lid are 4-5 inches (100-125mm). The floor and walls are poured at the same time so there is no join.
Versatility: Our tanks can be built above or below ground or in between, although the further the tank is in the ground, the better. We can build the tank with a thicker (engineered) lid so vehicles can drive over them or to cover the tank with dirt completely.
They can be used as a pergola base and we can install a clothesline in the middle of the lid. We have also poured the lid at the same time as a shed slab, so the tank is under a shed/driveway. This obviously creates room on the property. Our tanks can be built in the side of a hill if the access allows this.
Site requirements: As we build the tank on-site, we will need truck access to get right next to where the tank is to be built. We would require a 7m x 7m square hole on natural ground to the depth required. We can organise the site on request at no extra charge.
